Our ready to wear range is a little bit different. We don’t work in collections but rather on a continuous wardrobe. This means you will be able to order signature shapes over the lifespan of the brand with the same fit.

The Moon sweaters are a very special category on our website. They are only available on the time of the corresponding moon for 24 hours. After that they will disappear from the site.

The fashion calendar doesn’t make sense to us at Milk of Lime. Instead we propose something different, going back to the farmer moon calendar instead. So every full moon we will drop something. First we will start with Our moon sweaters. You can order them precisely during the full moon and only then.

Why? Because of overproduction, we don’t want to produce more than needed and want to produce fair. The sweaters are knitted in Germany with biological cotton.

You can find more information on when the drops are above and you can always look at the current moon phase in the upper left corner of the site. By the next full moon we’ll make sure you have your order.

Unique items are items made from found objects or items made out of deadstock materials. We won’t be able to make the exact piece again after it’s sold.

We have a big range of garment patterns that we can make to your size. Anything you see on the site can be made to measure to be able to fit you perfectly.

Depending on the material a full custom piece can range from 1.600 euro to 15.000 euro. We’re open for pretty much anything and anything is possible given the right amount of time and budget.

Once your order is confirmed, 50% down payment will be taken, with the further 50% balance to be paid upon collection of the piece(s).

For a fully bespoke piece, we usually require a 12-week timeframe, however, please note that completion times and prices for custom pieces are dependent on garment style and fabrication. These details will be finalised upon the confirmation of your order.

Each Custom Milk of Lime style is subject to 2 fittings with our to achieve the perfect custom fit, however, should you feel that you require any additional fitting or alteration, this can easily be worked into the timeframe for an additional fee.

Lastly, please note that the garment cost does not include shipping, however each custom order does include a preservation box for storage.

Every custom piece will be crafted by a single artisan in Germany.

The materials you will find in our garments will be organic. In the wearing process we prefer this and there are already enough plastics everywhere. The only synthetic material you will find in our garments is the woven label in the back since we wanted the softest weave we could find to rub against your neck. We made sure to find a company that used recycled polyester that has a STeP by OEKO-TEX® more info on what that means you can find here.

The main fabrics we use are luxury deadstock fabrics. Which means that the fabric is no longer useful for the quantities big fashion houses require. The fabrics will either come from France, Belgium or Italy (unless stated differently) For our leather we work with various tanners in Germany and overstock warehouses in Belgium who mainly focus on leathers from small tanneries in Northern Italy.

Moon sweaters can not be returned. Since they’re made on demand. We only produce the amount that are ordered.

For made to order, made to measure & custom services, we are unable to accept returns or refunds, due to their bespoke nature.

Express shipping (DHL courier) Estimated delivery time depends on the country ordered from.

• You will receive a tracking number as soon as your parcel has shipped.
• Deliveries will be completed during business hours from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.

If the parcel is not deliverable on the first attempt, the courier will attempt to deliver it another two times.

All orders are processed automatically and associated to the selected shipping method. It is not possible to place orders with a shipping country that is different from the country you have chosen for navigating the website.

We are not responsible for any added import taxes.

Moon sweaters are made on demand, so we can produce the exact amount of sweaters everyone ordered. After ordering allow up to 4-5 weeks for your order to arrive.
